Since 1998, the Association of Geographic Information Laboratories in Europe (AGILE) has been hosting annual conferences dedicated to Geographic Information Science. The upcoming AGILE 2027 conference will take place together with the 5th Youth Innovation Forum (YIF) of Digital Earth in Lund, Sweden, from June 21 to 24, 2027.
The joint AGILE-YIF 2027 conference theme “Geospatial Intelligence and Digital Earth for a Sustainable Future” stresses the transformative role of geospatial science, spatial intelligence, and Digital Earth technologies in addressing complex societal and environmental challenges. It highlights the importance of interdisciplinary research, technological innovation, and the engagement of a new generation of researchers and innovators in developing solutions for a more sustainable and resilient future.
