Getting to Lund

Lund is located in southern Sweden, close to Malmö and Copenhagen, and is easily accessible by air and train. For most international participants, we recommend travelling via Copenhagen Airport (CPH) in Denmark, which offers convenient direct train connections to Lund.

From Copenhagen Airport (CPH) to Lund

Copenhagen Airport is the closest major international airport to Lund and offers a wide range of international connections.

By train

Direct trains connect Copenhagen Airport with Lund Central Station (Lund C) via the Öresund Bridge. The journey normally takes approximately 35–40 minutes.

After arriving at Copenhagen Airport:

1. Follow the signs for Trains.

2. Purchase a ticket to Lund C before boarding the train.

3. Take a train towards Sweden and check that Lund C is listed as a stop.

4. The train crosses the Öresund Bridge into Sweden and continues via Malmö to Lund.

Tickets can be purchased from ticket machines at Copenhagen Airport or digitally. The Skånetrafiken website and app are particularly useful for checking connections and purchasing tickets. 

Please make sure that you have a valid ticket before boarding, as tickets are not sold on board.

Local Transportation in Lund

Lund is a 15-minute city. All major places can be reached by walk within 10-15 minutes. Busses and the tram covers the whole city. Bicycles and scooters are also available to rent.
