Stephan Winter
Stephan Winter is Professor in Spatial Information Science at the Department of Infrastructure Engineering, The University of Melbourne. He leads the discipline team in Geomatics at this department, and he also chairs the Australasian Spatial Information Education and Research Association – AGILE’s sister organization “down-under”. In another role he coordinates the Melbourne Research Cluster on Urban Connectedness, a university-wide cluster interested in urban sensing and urban analytics. Stephan Winter’s own specialization is in smart communication within the urban context, with a vision of developing smart services especially in the context of intelligent transportation.

Rob van de Velde
Mr. Rob van de Velde is Director of Geonovum, The Netherlands Executive Spatial Data Infrastructure Committee, since april 2007. Making the government work smarter when it comes to location has been the common thread in his work in the public sector. After studying social geography in 1985 he got involved with the introduction of geographic information systems at the Ministry of Housing, Physical Planning and Enviroment. Then he got job at the National Institute Public health and Environment. Previous to his present position he was head of the GIS Competence Center at the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food quality. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Open Geospatial Consortium and connected with the Spatial Information Laboratory of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
